Fairly OddParents: Shadow Showdown released in the US
2004 Sep 09 Blitz Games are pleased to announce today the release of their second Fairly OddParents title across the US.
An unbelievable phenomenon has occurred rattling kids all across Dimmsdale... there’s no TV reception! Preventing kids from watching the season finale of Crash Nebula sends Timmy and his Fairy Godparents on a journey that delves deeper than simple TV static. The ultimate plan to take over the world has been unveiled and only Timmy and his Fairy Godparents have the power to stop the evil. Join in the ultimate mission where Timmy uses unimaginable wishes to unmask the dastardly antagonist known only as the ‘Shadow.’
The Fairly OddParents: Shadow Showdown for the PlayStation 2 and GameCube has shipped to retail across the US and is due for release in Europe later in the year. As well as expanding upon the single player experience from the first title, Breakin’ Da Rules, Shadow Showdown features a six multiplayer minigames including playable characters from the hit cartoon show.
Blitz are very pleased with the success gained by the Fairly OddParents titles and are confident that this trend is set to continue.
