Blitz Games Studios is looking for a creative team player who is highly driven to create world class characters with an eye for detail and excellent sculpting, texturing and anatomy skills, working with a team of other highly creative artists and animators to create the next generation of world leading entertainment.

You will lead a team of highly creative animators to help create some of the most memorable and spectacular animations for our games and also be involved company wide in regards to training future animators thorough the unique Blitz Academy.

Delivering memorable and highly polished hand keyed animation and also having an understanding of other techniques such as motion capture, scripting and facial capture would also be advantageous.

As a 3D game artist you will be required to model and texture in-game art assets using Maya and Photoshop on schedule and to a high standard under the art direction of an Art Manager.

Visual effects such as explosions, particle effects, severe weather effects and full screen effects are essential and the world of the visual effects artist is to ensure that we add the polish and excitement to all future titles.

Working exclusively with a game team, you will be responsible for creating innovative and stunning special effects, liaising with other coders and artists and also working with our in-house technology suite, BlitzTech to ensure that all of our titles stay at the cutting edge.

Technical artists are the vital link between artists and programmers. They must possess a good grounding in both artistic and technical skills and have a full understanding and awareness of art development process and pipelines.

They are responsible for the evaluation, development, communication and support of the art creation and delivery pipelines of the project they are on.
